Public Mailing Lists

The mailing lists are the main communication channels for the Contrail community. Some of them are used for discussions whereas others are mainly used for notifications:

• contrail AT ow2.org: For questions about using Contrail, suggestions for improvements, ideas, etc.
• contrail-dev AT ow2.org: For the Contrail development itself.
• contrail-commits AT ow2.org: All SVN commits diff
• contrail-notifs AT ow2.org: Continuous Build failures are sent to this list. Contrail developers must be subscribed to this list to follow what's going on.

Before posting on the lists, please make sure to follow these posting tips.

• contrail-admin AT ow2.org: For internal discussions about infrastructure and administration of the OW2 development platform.

Subscribe

To subscribe to a Contrail mailing list, please follow these steps:

1. Open your Email client and create a new message.
   2. Send an empty email to <name of the mailing list>-subscribe@ow2.org
   3. You should then receive a confirmation email from the mailings lists management system SYMPA.
   4. Reply to this email
   5. You should shortly receive a notification if you successfully subscribed.

For example, to subscribe to the "contrail-topic" mailing list, send an email to contrail-topic-subscribe@ow2.org.

Unsubscribe

To unsubscribe from a Contrail mailing list, please follow these steps:

1. Open your Email client and create a new message.
   2. Send an empty email to <name of the mailing list>-unsubscribe@ow2.org
   3. You should then receive a confirmation email from the mailings lists management system SYMPA.
   4. Reply to this email
   5. You should shortly receive a notification if you successfully unsubscribed.

For example, to unsubscribe to the "contrail-topic" mailing list, send an email to contrail-topic-unsubscribe@ow2.org.
