Join the core developers team

The Contrail core developers team is composed by people from the Contrail consortium. Until October 2013, only known developers from these organizations will be accepted in the core developers team. The project should be managed by the community after this date.

OW2 registration

Our development platform is hosted by OW2.

1. Register to OW2 GForge

Fill the form at https://forge.ow2.org/account/register.php and answer the validation email to activate your account.

2. Register to OW2 Jira

Fill the form at http://jira.ow2.org/secure/Signup!default.jspa.

3. Ask permissions Contrail administrators

To be granted permissions to commit source code and resolve issues, you need to send an email to contrail-admin@ow2.org and to provide the following information:

1. your GForge account name
   2. your Jira account name

Please make the message subject "Contrail OW2 registration: request for permissions" so that the message will not be flagged as spam.

You should receive a welcome email once you've been granted the permissions.

Improve the documentation on the Wiki

Registration

To contribute and add content to the wiki, please follow these steps:

1. Log in our XWiki at least once using your OW2 credentials (usually your OW2 GForge login/password)
   2. Open a Jira ticket for component "Support Service" of the Contrail project and ask to be granted permissions for the wiki. Don't forget to indicate your login name in the message.
   3. When you will have been granted the edit rights, the Jira ticket will be marked "Resolved".
